AIR BRAKE RUNDOWN

Terms of Use

Last updated: November 7, 2026

Short version: Air Brake Rundown is a memory aid for your pre-trip. It does not replace your training, your official procedures, or your own judgment. You are responsible for your vehicle and for following the rules where you drive.

1. What the app is

Air Brake Rundown is a checklist tool to help commercial drivers practise and keep a record of an air brake pre-trip. It supports, and does not replace, an approved air brake course, a practical assessment or a registry test.

2. What the app is not

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for confirming each step against the official requirements for your province or state, your licence class and your vehicle. Step order and limits may change, and some provincial or state sequences may be incomplete or under review. If anything in the app differs from an official source, follow the official source. Never operate a vehicle you believe is unsafe.

4. Records and reports

Saved checks, photos and reports are stored on your phone. You are responsible for backing them up, and for deciding what to send to your employer or others. A saved record in the app is not proof of compliance with any law.

5. Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Free trials, prices, renewals and refunds follow the store's own rules. You can cancel in your store account settings.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

7. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Air Brake Rundown and its owner are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, fine, out-of-service order or other consequence arising from use of, or reliance on, the app. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date and version, and the app may ask you to accept the new terms again.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
